ROLE and PURPOSE
This is an unique product of Krishi Bharati. Almost all ihe micronutrients are present in GROWMIN-5. This product can be given to those areas where deficiencies of most of the Micronutrients are inevitable. The following are the characteristics of this unique product :
Zinc is one of the most needed micronutrients for plants growth. Zinc is the key constituent of many Enzymes and Proteins. It plays an important role in a wide range of processes, such as growth hormone production and internodes elongation. It activates certain enzymes that synthesises protein and also form chlorophyll that helps plant in Photosynthesis process.
Boron plays a key role in a diverse range of plant functions including cell wall formation and stability, maintenance of structural and functional integrity of biological membranes, movement of sugar or energy into growing parts of Plants and pollination and seed set.
Molybdenum is an essential component in two enzymes that covert nitrate into nitrite (a toxic element of nitrogen) and then into ammonia before it is used to synthesize amino acids within the plant. It is also needed by nitrogen fixing bacteria in legumes.
Magnesium is a central component of Chlorophyll which is supporting the the function to absorb the sunlight during Photosynthesis. It acts as a Phosphorus carrier in Plants and is essential for Phosphate metabolism.
Manganese is used as a major contributor to various biological systems including Photosynthesis, Respiration, and Nitrogen assimilation. It also involves in Pollen Germination, healthy pollen Tube growth, root cell elongation, also resistance to root Pathogens.
Calcium plays very important role in Plant growth and nutrition, as well as in cell wall deposition. The primary roles of Calcium, as a soil amendment, it helps to maintain chemical balance in soil reduces soil salinity and improves water penetration.
Finally, Copper activates some enzymes in Plants which are involved in Lignin synthesis and it is essential in several Enzyme systems. It is also required in the process of Photosynthesis, Respiration and assists in Plant metabolism of Carbohydrates and Proteins.
